Is it a lion peeking down at me? Stock exchange bldg.?

  Yes! (Although in addition to the lion, I noticed an interesting combo of curlicues in the lower left that could be two eyes and a funny nose…) This is the Merchant’s Exchange Building, at Third & Dock Street in Old City. Designed by William Strickland, it was built between 1832-1834
